This is the second bluetooth extender I have bought. I use it for an old receiver that we connected to the pool speakers in our living room. With this device we can connect in the pool via Bluetooth to our phones etc. to control the music, volume etc. through the receiver inside. We no longer have to rely on radio, playlists or running staff. Another bonus is that the stereo can now be controlled from any room in the house. Both add-ons I bought worked great, but this one is better for two reasons: 1) External controls on the unit allow you to manually control bass, treble, and volume. 2) The range of this device is much greater than that of the previous one. i bought one I highly recommend this type of device if you have a similar problem. You can also get external control and a longer range for a small additional charge.
