This unit is an excellent replacement for the factory radio/navigation system in your Chevy Cruze. Installation is fairly easy, the hardest part was removing the existing radio. After removing the old radio, install the new radio using the wiring harness provided. No cutting or splicing of wires, just plug and play. If you need help with the installation, just write to the support team and they will guide you through the installation. Just be patient as there is a 12 hour time difference when contacting support. This radio features Pioneer's improved 9-speaker system. The Pioneer system is designed so that the sound comes from the front (soundstage) as if you were at a concert. Therefore, when this unit is connected, the rear speakers are used for deep bass. If your Cruze has a standard radio, it's the same. All steering wheel controls work including volume, mute, change radio station, answering machine, etc. My radio/navigation has stopped working and the dealer charged $1500 to install it. Brand new, this unit is great value and has more features than the factory unit. All controls for your air conditioning, heating, fan, temperature and heated seats will work with this unit. In addition, you can now play music from your phone via Bluetooth. Also included in the company's package is a built-in reversing camera. The camera works great and it took a little time to install, mainly due to dismantling the fairing and interior details, but take your time and do it right, you will be happy with the results. I now have tones for my turn signals, a door opener chime, a back up alarm etc. This unit doesn't have a CD player but that wasn't a problem for me. This is a great device and great value for money.
