I needed a martingale collar to replace another collar for my younger dog with a smaller, narrow head. He would give up his other collars if he didn't want to do anything with the leash. I really like the reflectivity of the collar and they look better in the photos than I thought they would. I ended up buying two more for my other two dogs who didn't really need martingale style collars. I liked the good quality and the reflective aspects, especially at night. My dogs are brindle so they blend in easily with their surroundings. Because of their brindle coloring, I wasn't sure if collars with multiple stripes on them would look aesthetically pleasing. However, the collars I received each one look good. Plus they are easy to clean, if I take a bath and don't leave the collars on they look brand new again.
