good: in a typical California landscape, works reliably at a distance of about 1500 yards. The built-in ballistic SW is pretty good. I compared the results to Lapua's Doppler radar data and up to 400 yards. Leica calculated fall within 1 inch of Lapua's multi-bullet Doppler radar data. The Apple Watch app is not working. No Bluetooth interface for popular ballistic phone applications. Ugly: Distance over 1500 yards is questionable. 1500-2000 yards requires luck. From 2000+ you have to ask the deer to hold the mirror. The Leica SW has no possibility to enter wind speed/direction. Even if you know the wind data, you cannot enter it in any way. Must buy a Kestrel 5700 from $399-$769 to see wind and ballistics at 400+ yards. Once you purchase Kestrel, you will encounter Bluetooth reliability issues. Sometimes it sometimes doesn't work. By the end, you'll have over $1,000 invested in something really shady and weak.
