More than acceptable for what we have

These are very soft brushes. They don't hold their shape and contain very little pigment. All of these aren't bad points in and of themselves, but it's important to know what you're getting. I wouldn't recommend these brushes to a beginner looking to get into making quality art, but for those with a bit more knowledge they can be a useful tool. They will not hold their shape when wet or with added pigment. They're great for applying blurry colors or blending out harsher lines. I can only recommend them to craftsmen. for artistic applications. They work best with soft acrylics, but I would stay away from watercolors, oil paints, and heavy acrylics. Synthetic brushes have come a long, long way in the last 20 years until some superior hairbrushes appeared. Those aren't the brushes. This applies color to the surface, but not with much finesse and I wouldn't call it a pleasure. If you're looking for a $1.16 brush it's fine, otherwise go for something higher quality and priced accordingly.
