Personal preferences at Eldritch Knight.

This does not contradict the company itself. I have many sets of dice from them and have been quite happy with every set I have purchased, no doubt about that. However, this particular Eldritch Knight set was a disappointment. But that's my personal preference for them, but you might like them better. First off, the dice are definitely bigger than any other metal dice I've bought. No problem. The design/numbers look like they were applied with a sticker. Maybe I'm spoiled for straight metal cubes these days, but I'd say they looked good for what they are. The numbers are pretty easy to read. The edges are much smoother than traditional metal and cause more bounce when rolling than they currently do. It can be good or bad depending on how you look at it lol. My first night with them was great, after that my rolls were terrible. However, this is not a quality criterion, after all it is a matter of luck when throwing the dice. However, despite my excitement, it was too unbalanced for me to use it. I don't want my D20 to behave like a golf ball lol. I have to admit that the bag that contained Eldritch's bones is pretty cool. Anyway the bag made up for the purchase although I felt it was an expensive mistake but still got something I like lol. It really comes down to personal preference. I prefer standard sized metal bones that I'm familiar with. Slightly smaller but with good weight. I still rate it as decent overall because that doesn't mean they're really bad, but there are some drastic changes if you're used to what I consider regular metal cubes. It may be perfect for you, but Eldritch Dice is definitely not for me.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Insecure
