The case meets expectations. The corners are very soft. So if my device falls and lands on one of the corners, I'm sure my iPad is protected. The case is made of hard plastic, which should protect the iPad case from scratches. I like the convenience of the pen holder. I already mentioned how soft the silicone is on the corners. The only downside I have is that the silicone is too soft and I've found the case to slide off the plastic shell at certain spots like the power button or speaker terminals. Wherever silicone is minimal, I peel the silicone from the plastic sleeve. Not a huge issue, but I'm concerned about the silicone tearing in places I mentioned earlier like the switch and speaker terminals.
