This is a great organizational tool. I bought these to manage my messy stack of wallets (used to be hidden on the side of my dresser). So easy. An assembly is not required. Just hang up and you're done. Sounds easy enough, right? There are two things. I seriously underestimated the amount of stuff loaded into this thing. Since my bags used to be tucked next to the dresser, gravity helped compress them. On this wonderful hanger, they slightly increase by 2-3 times compared to the previous volume. This thing is wide and deep. While sizing will vary depending on the size of your bags, it was easily 2 1/2 feet wide and 1 1/2 feet deep. A very large pile of hanging purses.2. When fully loaded, this thing is HEAVY. Again, the weight will depend on the weight of your unique bags. Are leather shoulder bags heavy? bags? Difficult. For me, loading 12 wallets cost over £20. EASY I made the mistake of temporarily hanging this from a sturdy wooden rod in my closet, properly secured next to my stack of wallets. I am currently using this closet rod for blackout curtains over my sliding glass door. The weight of it tore the bracket off the wall. Be careful if you decide to hang this heavy animal.
