I don't have many bags but the ones I do end up on the closet floor. This pole mounted bag holder is very handy for keeping bags at eye level and off the ground. It's definitely sturdy, the hooks are well placed to accommodate most bag sizes. One extra bag hanger per order is used for scarves until more bags are in stock.

I liked it so much - I bought two! Two hangers come in one package, and one sticks to the bottom of the other. I hung two hangers separately in a partitioned closet and attached two hangers in another closet - they are so versatile! Hats are also great for this. I combined purses, fabric bags and sports caps on hangers. This is the perfect solution to organize the mess.

They are durable, have no sharp edges to scratch the bag and hang properly on the closet rod. I really like that they come with heavy duty leather cases that I store flat. (This rack takes up very little space.) The metal is thick enough to support a good weight without bending. The arms of the shelf are large enough to hold one large item or several smaller items, depending on size. Each of the bags I hung in the photo weighs between 3 and 6 pounds without filling.

I just got it today and was able to try it out! I only hung one now (test) and I put all my Vera Bradley on it (I have a lot of them!). And it seems to be holding up well. This is a great organizational tool. I bought these to manage my messy stack of wallets (used to be hidden on the side of my dresser). So easy. An assembly is not required.
