Someone said it was a bath mat. it is not. I think it can be used as a rug because it has a non-slip backing but softer than a small rug. This is the perfect size depending on what you intend to use it for. We have it in my stepson's bedroom next to his bed and he loves it. The color is light, the carpet appears to be of good quality. I would recommend it
