I bought this for my 2012 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab Z71 with 6.2L engine. Good product, this is the most economical way to get a really cool air intake. It uses your stock intake box which actually pulls cold air out of your fender and protects the filter from high engine temperatures. Stay away from cheap aluminum tubes, unprotected air filters, so-called air intakes! I've also researched and seen independent and dyno reviews testing several different air intakes and this one actually produced significantly more horsepower/TQ than any of them. My only issue is that it sucks in so much air so quickly that it vibrates/hums the fender or something when accelerating at certain rpm's and resonates very clearly in the cockpit, but I can live with that as it's not always the case.
