The design of the collet is great, except for the fact that the thread is further threaded at its base where it threads onto the brass part, which greatly reduces the strength of the " Finger" of the collet. . So when I dropped the collet from the table onto the carpet, I smashed two out of four of my devices, which made it possible to take this wonderful cropped photo. If you take good care of your tire chuck and never let it affect anything, it might survive, but the way they're currently made I highly doubt it. Added an extra star to the one star rating because I love the idea behind this product despite the terrible execution.
