works as it should in 4runner 2010. Appears to be a high quality filter. The additional foam filter protector found on all filters of this type is a bit thinner than most others I've seen from the Purolator or Toyota OEM. I like it because it might increase airflow a bit, but if you're driving dirt roads all the time it might be worth considering. There is no noticeable difference in mileage, but the filter appears to be of high quality. The time will show. Wix usually makes great filters.
