I'm always hesitant to buy tools without a battery when there is a spare battery available when needed. It's not a Dewalt or Makita, but it's also better than, say, a Black and Decker or a Harbor Freight tool. I use it when installing vinyl plank floors. A grinding tool was used to smooth out the excess concrete material around the vent to make it flat. It worked well for that purpose. It's probably not a tool for someone who works with it all day, but it works very well for the DIY enthusiast. One problem: the charger shows green when charging, I thought it was actually working. "up" charge indicator, but it isn't. Batteries are interchangeable between products. This tool, unlike some other tools, doesn't come with a carrying case and it would be nice to include one.
