I was looking for wicks to reuse wax. They definitely worked, when I first started using wicks I melted the wax in the jar that the original candle was in and then put the wick in just to try it out. The wick burned for 2 days and 1 night, after which all the wax in the jar burned out, so the experiment went exceptionally well. Now for the wax in this set. It is very soothing and burns very well. I've used it in a larger jar first with one wick and then again with two wicks, both times the wick burned all the wax. I love candles and I have soooo much wax left over from previously burned candles so these wicks are just what I need to use up. And now I know where to get the wax to continue making my own candles. This is my first time making my own candles so I'm a beginner so I would say if you want to try making your own candles this is the kit for you.
