Rösle design quality products and this tomato cutter works great. So far I've had no trouble slicing 1/4 inch slices of ripe or green tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. I wash and dry by hand and use a toothbrush to clean the jagged teeth when needed. Keep blades clean, dry and properly stored blades stay sharp.
