Pretty chic 👍 in the built-in TV tuner and capture cards

Well, it works. The resolution could be better for the price, but it's good. It looks like real 1080p 60fps. The audio is good, but if you're loading from the SD card you'll have to fiddle with the clip to get the audio to load fully or it will skip on imovie. I'm not sure about others. Now keep in mind that this is not a high-end device, but an easy-to-use entry-to-mid-range device that can do what you're looking for without the extra hassle or hefty price tag. I think it could be cheaper but it has a screen and a battery. The build quality almost feels like toys. It's thin and light plastic but looks like a pretty good device. I don't know how to turn down the volume. I turn the volume down and nothing happens. So it's playing 2 audio sources, that and the device I connected it to and there is audio delay so you get out of sync audio. 🤔 If you need an easy way to record video from streaming TV, DVD player, game console, etc., this is great. You can also connect a microphone for commentary. You can transfer to the SD card, then edit on the computer, etc. It's not bad. With some minor upgrades like better battery life, maybe a working volume control, the clip's record playback volume is good, I speak the volume through my own little speaker, this thing can be a nice thing to record with. 👍 Another longer HDMI cable with a smaller head would be nice. I had trouble connecting 2 HDMIs because the heads were too bulky and didn't fit into ports that were only allowed to be a few mm further apart. And a good suitcase doesn't hurt. Overall this thing works pretty well, could use a performance boost, but it works and does exactly what I wanted it to do. 🤙

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
