is brand new, placed in the brake mechanism, it had amazing decelerating ability. After 1-2 hard braking tests it lost about half its stopping power, although admittedly I have a supercharged minibike that normally goes around 20-25mph, I've built one that goes 50mph. My guess is that these pads are either not designed to slow down at these higher speeds or the material used in the pads was inferior.
