This is a stylish bottle opener for soda, beer and other similar bottles with a ribbed lid. The structured, slightly concave handle fits comfortably in the hand. I drilled a hole in the handle to fit a small D ring carabiner. The snap hook is very useful for attaching the bottle opener to a belt loop or key ring. When drilling a hole in the handle, I noticed that the metal nose of the can opener only penetrates the plastic handle briefly. I checked this by sliding the magnet along the handle to a point where there is no longer any magnetic attraction. While the lack of a solid metal shank in the handle made drilling easier, it also weakened the leverage (opening) advantage of the handle. I deduct a star for that.
