The back scraper is long enough for any average back and shoulders. Its overall length is 29 inches and the cleaning area is about 25 inches. The grips are thick for a good grip and the quality of the silicone is good. It rinses off easily and dries quickly. This is good value for me who likes to give my back a good clean in the shower. I really like the thinner and softer bristles and they lather really well. It is powerful enough to wipe off dead skin cells and gently massages the upper back. Gives a feeling of cleanliness after use. The hard and thick side of the scrubber suits my feet but is too hard for my skin. It's not that it doesn't clean well, it just doesn't suit my skin. I want both sides to have gentle, soft bristles so I don't have to be too careful about which side I use.
