Review on 🚀 Enhance Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Opener with Powerful 100 Ft. Driveway Vehicle Sensor (FM140) in Sleek Black by Dusty Oner

I installed it at the same time as the new Mighty Mule MM371W system and it failed for the first few weeks. The gate would accidentally open by itself and remain open. I was able to close the gate with the remote the first few times, but then I ended up having to turn off the gate controller to reset it. Now he doesn't answer at all. I opened up the gate control board and found that LED #2 flashes three times in a row, then a pause, and then the same sequence repeats. I used the troubleshooting guide in the Mighty Mule installation guide to decipher this blinking LED code and it clearly states that the output device is shorted. I installed everything according to the manufacturer's installation instructions, which is fairly easy. I followed each step in the correct order according to the manual so there was no chance of shorting something and damaging the control board or the device. I made sure the control board was disabled during installation and accessories. I have not ridden the device or cable, so physical damage is not possible. This is a Mighty Mule product designed for their gate openers so I expect more. I would understand if I buy another brand that might have compatibility issues. Also, the product should be way better for what they are charging for this junk. Now I'm wondering what's worse. This is what I've been waiting on the phone for a total of 4 hours with no response from customer support, or now I have to dig again to uncover this nonsense! I could just leave it if I can't get anyone on the phone to provide support and get the authentication number back. Oh, and bonus, I'll have to pay to ship it back to them if I ever get an RA#! That's ridiculous. I would give negative stars if that was an option.
