I have had this product for a little over a month and have used it 3 times. The fourth time I tried and inserted the probe I got the same error as the others with HHH on the display. I liked how this product worked the first 3 times and I believe it has a lifetime warranty and I would happily replace it but I'm still nervous that I'm worried it might be a recurring problem could act if the product fails after 3 uses. If a company could contact me to support their product I would be grateful. At the moment I am dissatisfied with this product. Update: I contacted the seller/manufacturer and they shared some additional information that I didn't have before or that I didn't read in the manual. When used in an open flame grill, I have been told that ANY PART of the cord or probe that exceeds the maximum temperature will damage the probe. Not sure how to use this BBQ thermometer if that's the case? Seems like a bad design they will continue to replace sensors for people like me who bought this to USE on a grill! Use in the oven or smoker and no problem as there is no open flame. When grilling, however, there is a risk that the device will be damaged, which means that you will have to send in a new device. Had this been clearly communicated when I was in the market and emailed them I would not have bought this unit. I'm not sure if all thermometers of this style have the same design limitation/limitation/flaw or not, but this one seems to have it and now I have to work around it and be careful. I seem to have something that isn't entirely viable for my needs, but it's mine now and I have no choice. Be careful if you plan to use your thermometer on the grill as you may get the same HHH results as many others. received from us and only now do I know why. Again, I don't know if it's in the literature or not, but if it's a limitation. You'd think they would clearly state this somewhere on the packaging, because let's face it. How many people actually read the manual?
