Review on πŸ”Š Marboo USB-Powered Soundbar Speakers for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC - Black (USB) by Drew Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mostly good, some bad (wrong)

Hi-Fi systems bought and sold 1970-1990, purchase 1st in hardware performance, 2nd in sound quality, 3rd in price (best value for money ). No, it's not a high-end system, but it claims the performance is high-end/high-end: frequency response range: 25Hz-20kHz and signal-to-noise ratio: β‰₯80dB. No, if you're human - no way. When you play something like Bernard Koch - Walking through the Clouds there is no bass or organ in the 25-150Hz range. The specified frequency response range is NOT TRUE. Also, I didn't hear the slight wire brush noise on the cymbals, so I don't think there's noise that people can hear at 18-20kHz. As a result, the frequency response is likely closer to 200Hz to 18kHz - not terrible, but not what was released. Pros: Sound level (volume) and clarity at reproduced frequencies are very good - piano, violin are natural and clear. The sound will fill the kitchen/dining area very well (1 small room). Due to the natural sound of high frequencies, the voice is very clear - my main area of application. Summary: If you can be satisfied that your speaker lacks bass and you need to fill a small space with good sound for voice, speech, news, talk radio, etc., this is a good buy. Anyone who expects deep and powerful bass in the range from 25Hz to 150Hz will not be satisfied with this.
