UPDATE November 15, 2021: Working with HomeKit and Siri again. I don't know why they stopped or started working again. Luckily they've been working for a few months now so I'm leaving them alone. They all say they have an update available, but given the issues I'm having, I'm hesitant to update them. If I pick up the courage I'll try to update and edit my review again. UPDATE January 27, 2021: I bought 8 of these and all 8 stopped working with Apple HomeKit. They all work with the Meross app but not with Siri or the Home app. This completely defeats the purpose of having them as I wanted them to work with my Apple stuff. Considering that all 8 of them stopped working at the same time after working normally for several weeks, I suspect the problem is in the firmware or Apple released an update that retail stores haven't caught up on yet. It's been over a week since they broke so I'm a little disheartened that they may never work again. Let's hope the seller updates them or they're basically a waste. Please note that they work great with the Meross app and when you click the button on the side. They just don't connect to Apple HomeKit anymore. The Apple Home app or Siri or other automations provided by HomeKit cannot be used. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My main requirement was Apple HomeKit/Siri without paying too much. They are perfect for that. As long as they are reliable and work well. The Apple TV in our home acts as a hub. My only complaint is that these outlets sometimes complain about the need to update the firmware, but when I open the app and go to the firmware update section, nothing needs to be updated. Thankfully these messages went away last week, but for the first week of ownership they bothered me multiple times a day despite no firmware updates being available.
