These coasters are very cute and do what they were designed to do. They have a thin cork bottom to keep them in place and so far have proven to be durable. They really are VERY absorbent. That may also be the reason why I don't like her. I spilled some coffee when I put the cup down but I was busy with work so I didn't manage to wash it off until later, well at least I tried. I couldn't remove it so now one of them has coffee stains on it. I also put a watercolor brush on it and the color didn't come out either. Three stars because they do what they're supposed to, but I think if you don't clean them right away they'll stain - I don't feel like buying new coasters just because they look dirty after spilling.
