Review on 4K HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 Port, SD/TF Thunderbolt 3 USB C Hub Adapters For MacBook Pro 2020-2018 by Dennis Long

I’m loving this purchase. I’ve bought a couple of other docks for my MacBook but they all had weird aesthetics. Long cords, backwards facing inputs, overheating even when not under strain. This one is nearly perfect. Matches my silver MacBook color really close. It’s more discrete, doesn’t take up a lot of space. Has a sufficient amount of important ports. USB 3.0x2 and SD/mini SD memory slots. And of course the 2 USB -C ports. One thing I’m super happy with is the fact the dock is the same (really close anyway) thickness as my MacBook (I have the new M1 version) so you can apply pressure or weight on the dongle without it bending. IF you are on a flat surface. If you are holding it in your lap and you apply weight I’m sure it would bend or break. It doesn’t get hot when transferring data via usb but it does get warm. Has one small discrete light indicator. I wish it had none but…whatever. It does what I need it to do. This was a good buy for me. Hope this helps someone else.
