FILTER e53 4.4i GRINDED AT 12 THOUSAND. MILIACH
Ok so this x5 4.4i was my daily driver. never cared for or washed. Every 10,000 miles it was fed M1 0W40 or Castrol 0W40. He ate ignition coils and oxygen sensors like popcorn, but I still miss him. I ran it at 12k and found the Hengst filter was completely crushed and lying in a dirty heap in the filter housing. I was very disappointed but decided to change every 8km. after the incident it wasn't. Shouldn't they stop 15 km according to the BMW timetable?
