I recently bought a Toyota Prius V that didn't have a secure rear number plate bracket, just a couple of dented rusty holes where the stock bracket used to attach. I've searched all over the internet to find something that works (I also needed a mount compatible with an aftermarket backup camera). Although this product is intended for BMW vehicles, I decided to try it. The only modification I made was to purchase two stainless steel screws from Ace Hardware. I sealed the old holes with good tape and drilled two pilot holes. The new mount is now secure and looks like it has always been there.
