Easy to clean. Perfect if you just want to make a salad for one or two people. Ideal for spinach, iceberg and any greens that need washing and rinsing. If, like me, you like to soak your veggies a few times to make sure they're clean, I found the basket fits perfectly in my 4-cup glass measuring cup. I fill it with water and let the greens soak, even spin them empty and do it again. It's easy to take from the 4 cup glass measuring cup and I wring them dry. It could be held under a faucet and allow water to flow through it, holding the bowl with one hand. I'm a small woman, but I can hold the bottom bowl with one hand and spin the spinner handle on top with the other. I'm eating more salads and veggies, which has reduced my cooking time. I can keep them in the closet with the dishes so they are easy to get. My rating is based on 55.99. I bought it in May 2019 for 11.99. Just a few months later, is it $55.99 now? Raise $44. It doesn't cost 55.99, check out the now larger selection of small spinners. THIS IS THE SAME COMPANY I Bought "EDIT" That's a big step forward! The company has adjusted the price again! A HUGE improvement on the incredible 55.99 increase from the original 11.99. Still not the price I originally paid but with some inflation. Now it's a better buy for those looking for salads for 1-2 people. I continue to use mine and it is in like new condition.
