Works as intended. Our bedroom was at least 10 degrees warmer or cooler than the rest of the house on a normal day. And may the Lord help us in the summer months. It got at least 15-20° warmer. This blind helps with morning and afternoon sun. It can be easily removed during the winter months when you need free warmth. The application was easy. Trim to fit about 1/2" overhang on all sides. Wash windows thoroughly and apply plenty of soap and water. Position and squeeze out the water. Trim to fit. That's all. In the photos I'm showing a bedroom window with awning and a bathroom window without. Also, I have a 36 1/2" main window in a 35 1/2 film. But the half inch protrusion on either side doesn't bother me. I'm very happy with the results. Would recommend .
