It's good but not great, after using it to cook the steaks in the picture above I removed the stove and put my hand on where it was, it was quite hot I don't think that it is meant for this application but i think it could work better. That didn't stop me from getting another one. Pros: Good size. Durable for a while. On: Increased heat resistance. Although the glass surface was hot, it wasn't unbearable, and most of the time I use it on a picnic table or on the floor, so this should work to avoid burn marks.
