I bought these to organize the lamp cords along the baseboards. These clips have always worked really well for me in the past. The clips in this pack are bigger than I remember and just enough to hold the power cords in place (not big enough for computer cords). Before using them I cleaned the baseboards as directed on the packaging and glued them to clean latex painted wood as directed, but the glue on the pads did not stick well. I have to keep reinstalling them. If the cable lies on the base in a busy hallway, the lamp will not be pressed, and the cable will not be torn, so as not to loosen the brackets. I would buy this product again but I hope for better results next time.
