Review on Enhance Engine Performance with Delphi TS10072 Air Charge Temperature Sensor by Dennis Reed

A bad air blower can result in over-fueling

Excellent value for money. one of the problems. Can cause the car to idle quickly while driving instead of idling when you let off the gas. Idling is between 1500 and 2000 rpm while driving, even if you don't have your foot on the pedal. It is installed next to the air mass meter between the ventilator and the intake manifold. In the event of a malfunction, it tells the on-board computer that the air is too cold, so the engine puts more fuel into the engine to compensate for engine heat, but the engine (from the computer's point of view) never gets warm due to incorrect readings. The other sensor that causes this is the coolant sensor, which is usually located on the thermostat housing. So if you have this problem, buy both sensors. Repair cheaply and save a lot of fuel.

Pros
  • Has a one-piece lead frame design from sensor tip to connector terminals to eliminate internal connections and failure points
Cons
  • Expensive
