Review on Dorman 38640 Tailgate Hinge Kit for Chevrolet / GMC Models - Black Finish by Robert Aiono
I had to cut and sand parts to fit.
The durability and value of this kit is beyond doubt. He is strong and well made. I had landing problems. The round side was flared and didn't match the tailgate piece. I had to sand it down and ended up cutting off about 1/8 inch to put it back together. It just wasn't right.
