I think this was a super easy install. There is even a guide sheet included, so you don't have to fenagle with the screws - which I love.It's super sturdy and strong. The locking mechanism isn't EXCPETIONAL (I think I could probably shove a screw driver in there and snap the locking mechanism) but it will prevent basic unwanted entry.Mail retrieval is generally pretty easy, but it can be inconvenient for two reasons. One: you can't tell if there's mail in it without opening it up. and two: you need the key to open it. Due to the locking mechanism, you can't leave the lock open and the door closed - the door will get jammed open.Everything else is exceptional about it. Big fan.
