Not as stable as in the description, you have to check, tighten, reconfigure at least 2 times a week

Not the stability I expected. When I first received the product when I opened the box it wasn't what I expected. I think I was expecting a more solid weight on the safety bar. I installed/installed a safety bar on the wall (in a wall stud for extra stability/security) just next to the shower in the bathroom, however to make it easier for parents to get in and out of the shower. While the safety bar provides some stability/support for my elderly parents, I still feel like it's not as strong and secure, and honestly it doesn't seem as secure as it was the first day I used it set up where I should check if it needs to be adjusted at least 2 times a week. It could be a bar pull to help parents get in and out of the shower and others have looked who have indicated/recommended using a different safety bar stating I'm not checking the bar based on the feel, tighten or have to readjust as if it would lose sustainability. Thus, due to the required/used frequency, I sometimes doubt that this is a product that requires constant checking, tightening or adjustment. I'm considering replacing the safety bar with one recommended by friends and doctors that seems heavier and sturdier.

Cons
