It's a cheap unit so I don't expect it to last forever but compared to a $250 Ford I wanted to give it a try. I've been a Ford mechanic in the past and have really appreciated their electronics compared to the aftermarket, but it was mainly a test unit which was cheap to make sure I didn't have any ETAC or PCM issues. Checked current and ground on the input side, all ok. The test lamp could not be made to work on the smaller control pin. Connected power and ground to the fan with a quick swipe and the fan worked. That unit is the weak link, but prior to the 250 cut, 25 seemed reasonable. It will be necessary to see how long it will take, installation takes 10 minutes.
