Review on Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Smartphone MediaTek Dimensity 920 8/256 GB Global, Dual nano SIM, graphite gray by Stanislaw Mlekodaj ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

Bought in September 2022 after stealing Redmi note 8 pro. If you compare most things are better, but there is no wow effect. The screen and charging are noticeably more interesting. Charging directly turns the use of the device, that is, there is practically no need to think about it. If you suddenly sat down, stuck it for 20 minutes and enjoy life. Plus 5g and a totally underrated VOWiFi feature. And for me, these features are great. The local operator has 5g coverage much better than 4g, calling via WiFi while roaming is priceless. But, I repeat, the device did not deliver much pleasure to me. After 3 months of use, the screen broke, in Thailand, this model is not represented, it is impossible to repair. I bought Xiaomi 12t - there is a wow effect here. For me, the processor is not so important, the main difference is in the details of the software. Turning on the acceleration of charging - in 12t, pressing one button, in 11 pro, clicking on the button to the menu item and turning it on is already there. The difference is minimal, but it's there. The screen frequency is 120 Hz here and there, but in 12t these 120 Hz are used only in dynamic pictures and do not waste the battery, and in 11 pro it is always 120 Hz. Always on display is limited (in fact, it is not on 11 pro). Well, there is a known problem with the proximity sensor. In general, the device did not work for me, I'm glad that I had to change it. The feeling that with excellent characteristics is raw software.

Pros
  • Excellent performance, charging - the bomb. The screen is fire. Availability of 5g and VOWiFi.
Cons
  • Software limitations, the shell is deliberately made a little worse than in more expensive devices. Bad proximity sensor. Lack of official deliveries to Thailand (impossible to repair).
