I'm amazed how hard it is to find good rechargeable bike lights these days. While the environmental concerns of rechargeable batteries are undeniable, if you're an occasional/spontaneous driver and don't have a daily commute, you really need a flashlight that's ready to go, even if you didn't forget to turn it on the night before. .The good guys at Planet Bike filled that need. This light is bright enough to drive at high speed at night and bright enough to be visible to cars during the day. The flashing mode with white light in front and amber on the sides is ideal as a safety beacon. And with batteries, it's ready when you are. Good solid mount, easy to move from one bike to another, suitable for different handlebar diameters. I can definitely recommend this lamp!
