Not only did I like the great price, I love these coasters because unlike tall post coasters they sit deep in the sand. This makes them really pretty when you're sitting in your low chairs on the beach. You don't have to get up to have a drink. Plus, they're compact and much easier to pack for on the go. They weigh less and are not as bulky as large stake holders. They fit right into your beach bag or suitcase and don't need to be carried separately. And unlike stake coasters, you don't have to worry about finding soft ground to stick them in, and you won't end up in the mud/dirt they were put in after you pull them out of the ground. I love that I don't have to worry about my beach bag getting dirty. I also love that I didn't have long metal poles to pierce my beach bag. I also like that they fit in my beach bag - the ones with long handles are too long to carry and keep falling out. Finally, there's nothing to break with them, so they last much longer than woven coasters - I had to buy several sets of woven coasters, which seems like a waste of my hard-earned money. You can install these things anywhere. They sit evenly on the sand thanks to four legs that are far enough apart to ensure consistent stability. I wasn't quite sure how big the opening would be. I needed something that would fit my big Yeti. I have the biggest yeti bowl you can get. The Yeti fits in perfectly. One thing to note is that when you get your hands on the Yeti, the sand stand is snug against the ground. I just put my hand on the stand to remove the mug. It wasn't a problem for me. If I were to use it at a picnic where there is no sand (like grass etc) I would have no problem picking up the mug with the coaster attached, drinking from it and putting it back on the ground. It would actually be a great four picnic, etc. You never have to worry about putting a cup in the grass or on the ground and it will fall. I love you for the convenience and usefulness of these things, not to mention that they are so compact and simple that you can just toss them in a pocket or even a pocket (depending on the size of your purse) or just carry them in yours Hand. until you use
