About 5 years ago drawer slides were fitted into our cabinets. One of the boxes collapsed with a rather loud crack. I pulled it out and found those frames were broken. I don't know if it was an installation problem or an overloaded box. I ordered them (the same brand as the original) to replace and reinstall the box. Inside are "rails" - I don't think that's the right word, but I don't know what it is - to allow the side of the box to slide in and out. However, it is not clear if this product has a "left" and "right" port. Through trial and error I've found a few good ones to install. For example, I installed two (one on each side) and the drawer didn't slide all the way out. I couldn't figure out why until I realized that the "track frame" was larger on one side than the other. I replaced it with another slide that had the underside (both sides - so I have a feeling it could be a manufacturing defect with some slides being too thick on one side). In the end I found slides in packages that worked. and I was glad I bought extra packs just in case. So things will work out. To save yourself some work, inspect the rails prior to installation and make sure the interior walls are relatively short and even. I also recommend purchasing an additional pack. They're not expensive, so it's easier to deal with potential "losers" that way.
