These wires arrived on time and as advertised. I connected the electrode holder, ground clamp and cable connector without any problems. I welded a 1/2" plate uphill, 6010 root and hot pass, 7018 fill and close with no problems. I also have a 4" 40 gauge carbon tube in 6G position, 6010 root and hot pass, 7018- Connector welded without problems. The only differences between these cables and the old ones are 1) one of these cables is red, 2) these cables are a bit stiffer, probably because they are new, and 3) I got a clearer arc with them, but that could also be on new ones electrode holders, earth clamps or cable connectors. Overall excellent cables, excellent welding wires.
