I have coached softball for 20 seasons (10 years). I haven't found such a useful tool for punches. For my college players, it helps them focus on transferring their power through the ball so they can focus on their workload, movement, and stretching. For my new girls, it helps them focus on bat handling, the connection point. For all of them, paying attention to not hitting the ball overhead or hitting the ball helps, linear propulsion is the answer. (It's not designed to hit hard balls, get incredible balls, or shake balls).
