Ideal crayons to use as carbon paper
We bought these crayons because they are softer and made in America. We've seen videos on YouTube of folding a sheet of thick paper in half, applying a layer of chalk to one side, and then placing a layer of these soft crayons on top of the chalk. The paper is folded with the colored side inwards. A design is placed on top of an outward curved design. These soft crayons then work like old carbon paper and my daughter's design was amazing. It's worth the extra cost! I just wish there was a wider range of colors or bigger crayons. Enjoy using them with your kids outside or inside!
