Crayola Better

When you buy crayons, you buy Crayola. The colors are much more saturated, they are almost invisible on thick paper. More like a regular pencil. Also, they were just thrown into a box, so they opened up and were everywhere.

Aren't there standard colors for a box of crayons?

I am impressed with the suppleness of this colored pencil and its good color transfer; I just can't understand why there are no black or red crayons in a box of 16 crayons! Really weird and I feel like the box of crayons is incomplete.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Creative inspiration

We love these crayons; They are very light, blend easily on paper and stand out very well on colored paper, especially black - much better than pastels. The effect is so satisfying that I often can't resist joining my 5-year-old artist as she pulls out her crayons and colored paper!

Pros
  • Crayons
Cons
  • Legacy

Ideal crayons to use as carbon paper

We bought these crayons because they are softer and made in America. We've seen videos on YouTube of folding a sheet of thick paper in half, applying a layer of chalk to one side, and then placing a layer of these soft crayons on top of the chalk. The paper is folded with the colored side inwards. A design is placed on top of an outward curved design. These soft crayons then work like old carbon paper and my daughter's design was amazing. It's worth the extra cost! I just wish there was a wider
