Fits older faucets like the one in my house from 2001.
. Delta's instructions were very clear that the cartridge provided might not fit older valves, and they were right. My house was built in 2001, which means older. I'm glad I looked at the instructions before disassembling the old faucet. Bought this genuine cartridge model Delta RP19804 to replace the original in the wall and have been waiting for it to arrive (yes, PRIME). Replaced, everything works as it should, the new set looks good, no leaks and no leaks. I don't know what to do with the cartridge that came with the faucet.
