UPDATED: Your ability to see everything this little microscope does depends on whether you're looking through a phone or a computer screen. Phone: The app didn't originally work on the iPhone, but that was the result of poorly written instructions. After figuring out the problem, I was able to connect it to my phone. First you need to turn on the device (not the app), then in the settings in the WiFi connections section you will see the device "max-See". displayed as a WiFi connection. Then you have to switch off your normal WiFi and connect to the Max-See-WLAN. Your internet connection will be lost, but the microscope and your phone are now connected. So NOW open the app and it works. The quality is far from excellent at high magnification. At 50x - the lowest magnification - I get good images, but they don't really appear until 5x. It still beats the images from the iPhone 11 Por Max, which can't zoom in 5x and that close. Computer: I have a PC with a powerful graphics card as I use both microscopy and painting tools on my PC. I was expecting amazing things on PC. I had to go through a few dubious sites to find out that in order to use an emulator that pretended my computer was a Samsung phone, I needed to install a platform. To get there you have to go through a lot of steps, some of which are in Chinese. Obviously not for the American market. I spent an evening installing it only to find out that my computer is not a Samsung phone. so it didn't work. The seller contacted me and sent me a new unit after I sent the first one back as it didn't work. The seller did this even though the item had already been returned and refunded so it was a gift to try. I consider it a wonderful positive attitude worthy of rising stars.
