Review on πŸ”’ Universal Tie Down Straps for SportRack - 12ft Length for Easy Securing by Darin Marshall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Useful as a last resort, unacceptable for regular use.

Working as a family I was missing a set of straps when a kayak manufacturer I am associated with gave me a surprise bonus boat for my demo fleet. With cases full of belts (literally) at home, I ordered the cheapest belts I could find on Revain Prime. i understand why These polypropylene straps are loosely woven and will stretch horribly when riding or getting wet. Check them out often! The buckle is also disappointing, and as other reviewers have pointed out, the hole is so small that it's quite difficult to pull the strap through every time. Upon delivery, the ends of the straps were very poorly soldered and worn. a mess when first slipped through the buckles. After heating with a lighter and then pressing the front edges together as thinly as possible while cooling down, they can be threaded into the buckles a little more easily, but are still not suitable for everyday use. As soon as I get home to my stacks of NRS and Thule straps, they're tossed in a corner and never used again. . . but for $7 and free two-day shipping, they managed to complete their one-time service in time!
