I bought this game to add to my collection of little games to have in my bag when I see any of my grandkids. There's too much technology in this family to expect kids to be naturally drawn to old-school games, but you never really know. I've never met a young child who doesn't enjoy shaking the dice in a cup, whispering/blowing on them "let's get sixes" indefinitely, and finally tossing them on the table. It makes me laugh that every generation of kids does it naturally without seeing anyone else doing it the way we do. It's a fast-paced game that's very helpful when playing with video game kids who are used to constant action. Give them this when they're temporarily bored of video games. I don't think mine would have even tried otherwise. Oh, and buy a nice felt-lined mug so you don't get maddened by the noise.
