Review on Enhance Air Quality 🌬️ with FilterBuy 16X25X1 Pleated Furnace Filters by Ted Higdem

Bye 3M and your $20 filters! Hello FilterBuy! They are better than I expected! I bought 16x25x1, read a lot of negative reviews, one person was cut etc. I asked my husband to open the box and take pictures just in case. The filters were shrink-wrapped and securely packed in a large box. Only one of the filters had a small dent, which is nothing to worry about. My furnace is brand new, I wouldn't put anything in it that would do ridiculous damage to my new $10,000 freon-free units. [For those of you who don't know this freon is banned in the United States, they don't make it anymore or import it from anywhere.] [Companies are allowed to ship and use what's left in their warehouses, however be willing to pay for it is an obscene amount of money. [The freon in cars is wrong and hasn't been eliminated, nor has it been eliminated in appliances, so I have new units.] These filters are strong, the wires are not razor sharp, the wire mesh is made as expected. You must disassemble the filter to access the metal mesh that holds the filter together while the inlet and outlet work together. I used to buy 3M filters and they cost a lot of money. I found them to be much better made. They are much easier to install and the price is amazing! I don't know how the reviewer said it left a deep cut unless you specifically remove the metal grille to gouge or cut yourself. I can't imagine anyone using these filters for exactly what they are intended for. My old unit used the same size filter and had no problem with either of them. The filters are as described and in some cases very well made and if I were to buy a supposedly "better brand" or rather a more expensive one, I would pay around €35 for just one. Everyone will have their own opinion on these filters and I respect that. I've been using this size for over 15 years. I had no accidents when I removed the old filter to replace it with a new one, thank goodness. Will definitely order them again when I'm done with the ones that arrived today. I still get ridiculously dizzy from the amazing quality and how well made they are. My husband removed the old 3M filter. I compared it to FilterBuy and was amazed at how much better and more reliable FilterBuy is. I put the 3M next to the FilterBuy, just noticed the 3M is so thin, can't imagine why I bought it, dust would have gotten into the socket. Great danger for me as I have asthma and COPD. In figures 5 and 6 I show the new 3M on the left and the new FilterBuy on the right. Note that the 3M filter does NOT form a rear screen which blows back dust etc. The last two photos show a small dent on the new filter, it stood up with no problems. A tiny dent will NOT reduce the effectiveness of the device or any part of it. A slight dent, jing, dong, dan or crease isn't a big deal, a little "push", "squeeze", "wiggle" and a tiny "nudge" will fix it. In the end, we got more for our money with FilterBuy.
